weird hats

rosemary and i started work yesterday on our weird medieval hats for our homeschool group's medieval fair next month. some of those 14th and 15th century hats were really weird, let me tell you! they sometimes had to widen and heighten the castle doorways so the ladies could get in. rosemary especially wants the really tall cone type with the veil thingy on behind, so i guess we'll start that one next. those are called cone hennins. i guess i'll put up some pics as i finish these works of weirdness.
