And so Arwen Undomiel, Evenstar of her people, came the the White City, Gondor, to wed Arogorn son of Arathorn, the King Elessar, Isuldir's heir.
"And Frodo when he saw her come glimmering in the evening, with stars on her brow and a sweet fragnance about her, was moved with great wonder, and he said to Gandalf: 'At last I understand why have waited! This is the ending. Now not day only shall be blessed, but night too shall be beautiful and blessed and all it's fear pass away!'"
I love this bit from The Return of the King. It's like it will be for us at the end. The darkness will no longer be a thing to fight. It will have lost it's power to cause fear.
