history

i love history. it permeates my brain. i have no clue how i know things. i don't know where i got them from. but my brain is full of interesting loose facts about the war between the states, world war ii, ancient rome, egypt, byzantine, and the huguenots. i love it. some people find it weird though, and hard to believe. my previous employer did. we had some interesting talks about stuff. what i found most fun were the times when she thought she was letting me know about something new, and not only did i know a lot more about the topic than she did, but i knew some of her 'facts' about it were totally wrong. hehehehe. i never let on though. just secretly giggled. history is so much fun. reading about dead and dusty old heroes and heroines is really one of my favourite things to do. they say if you don't know your history you'll repeat it. i think that's true. and not only should you know your history, but i think you should know the history of many countries, many civilizations, and many rulers. i love history.
